The intimate nature of lullabies promote comfort and security for both the singer and the listener. Often, the context of lullabies are nonsensical and may evoke the insecurities and fears of the singer. The non-linearity of dreaming states can bring the dreamer to a revealing awareness of her/his anxieties, often promoting a healing process. The music on this program enlightens various facets of complex, dreamy relationships which, when discovered may actually be simple and transparent. The music exhibits the voice and the flute binding and separating. Air is the common factor. New languages are uttered.
