CRISPR technology is a powerful new tool that allows scientists to easily alter DNA sequences to modify gene function. With important implications for everything from medicine, to agriculture, to basic science, the development of CRISPR has sparked a scientific revolution that has the potential to transform the world around us. In this lecture, Prof. Bono will discuss how CRISPR was discovered, the diverse ways it is being used, as well as potential limitations and concerns associated with the technology.
